At Shadow Pine Labradoodles, we are committed to breeding healthy, happy puppies. We take every possible step to ensure the health and well-being of our dogs and their litters.

  • Puppies remain with us until 8 weeks of age.

  • At 6 weeks, each puppy receives a thorough veterinary examination and age-appropriate vaccinations from our licensed veterinarian.

  • If a life-threatening health condition is discovered at this examination:

    • The seller must be notified immediately.

    • The puppy must be returned to Shadow Pine Labradoodles within 24 hours.

    • Proper veterinary documentation of the condition must be provided.

Replacement or Refund

  • Upon return of the puppy, the buyer may choose:

    • A replacement puppy (when one becomes available), or

    • A refund of the purchase price (excluding the deposit and any shipping fees).

  • If no replacement puppy is available from the same litter, the buyer may select one from an upcoming litter.

Exclusions

  • This health warranty does not cover:

    • Umbilical hernias

    • Malocclusion (bite misalignment)

Health Guarantee

At Shadow Pine Labradoodles, we are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies. To give our families peace of mind, we provide the following health guarantee:

Genetic Health Warranty

  • We guarantee your puppy against all serious genetic health impairments (life-threatening or life-altering) until he or she reaches 24 months of age.

  • If your puppy is diagnosed with a covered genetic condition and you provide proper documentation from a licensed veterinarian, you may choose one of the following options:

    1. Return the puppy for a replacement puppy when one becomes available.

    2. Keep the puppy, and we will refund veterinary costs up to the purchase price of the puppy (excluding deposit and shipping fees). Once the refund equals the purchase price, the warranty is considered fulfilled and no further financial obligation remains.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover health issues resulting from injury, ingestion of foreign objects, food, or chemicals. The following conditions are also excluded:

  • Fleas, worms, parasites

  • Stress-induced diarrhea

  • Viral, bacterial, or fungal infections

  • Allergies

  • Hypoglycemia

  • Giardia or coccidiosis

Care Requirements

To maintain this warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  • Puppy must be kept up to date on vaccinations and veterinary care by a licensed veterinarian.

  • Puppy must be housed indoors and not kept outdoors.

Failure to meet these requirements will void the warranty.

Puppy Socialization & Vaccinations

Veterinarians may differ in their recommendations on when to begin socializing a new puppy. Some advise waiting until all vaccinations are completed, while others recommend careful early socialization to avoid potential behavior issues.

If you choose to socialize your puppy before vaccinations are complete, please do so with extreme caution:

  • Only expose your puppy to safe environments.

  • Limit interactions to a small number of healthy dogs that are current on all vaccines and parasite prevention.

Your puppy’s health and safety always come first!
